SECTION 14 (1) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC FAIRFIELD AVENUE, KIRK ELLA (WHOLE EXTENT)
Notice is hereby given that East Riding of Yorkshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along Fairfield Avenue, Kirk Ella (whole extent) commencing Thursday 8 October 2026 between 08.00 hours and 16.00 hours to enable carriageway repair works.
The road closure is necessary to enable the works to be carried out in a manner consistent with ensuring the safety of the public. The Order is valid for 18 months, but it is anticipated that the works will be completed within two days. The alternative route for traffic affected by the road closure will be via Glenfield Drive and Annandale Road, Kirk Ella. The diversion route will be signed at the time of closure. Access will be maintained for residents, emergency services and pedestrians, however through movements will not be possible.
