What is happening?

HIGHWAYS ACT 1980
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under sections 90A and 90C of the Highways Act 1980 and all enabling powers and after consultation with the chief police in accordance with section 90c (1) of the Act that the Council of Slough Borough Council proposes to install road speed humps (Two sets of speed cushion andspeed table) on Horton Road at the section starting from 137m of its junction with Popes Close towards its junction with Bath Road/ Colnbrook High Street.
The approximate dimensions of the road humps (Speed cushion) are shown below:

The speed cushions will be positioned along Horton Road at the following points:
• On Horton Road starting from a point 137 meters East of the centreline of its junction with Popes Close.
• On Horton Road starting from a point 214 meters East of the centreline of its junction with Popes Close.
The speed Table is positioned along at Horton Road.
The approximate dimensions of the speed table are shown below:

Copies of this Notice, statement of reasons for proposing the traffic calming measures and a plan showing the location
and the effect of the proposal may be inspected at Observatory House, 25 Windsor Road, Slough SL1 2EL during their
opening hours to view a larger version of the above plan and at the Curve, William Street, Slough SL1 1XY.
