(ETON CHRISTMAS EVENTS)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2026
SECTION 16A ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead intends, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to: -
Prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the lengths of roads specified in Schedule below between the times shown therein. The restrictions shall apply to those lengths of roads specified in the Schedule at such times when signs in accordance with the Traffic Sign Regulations and General Directions 2016 are duly in place to indicate the said restriction.
The purpose of the proposed Order is to facilitate the holding of a relevant event, namely the Eton Christmas Event. The proposed Order will come into operation from 17.00 hours on Thursday 12 November until 21.00 hours on Thursday 12 November 2026.

November 2026:- B3022 High Street From its junction with Keate’s Lane
southwards to its junction with Eton Court.
Prohibition of Driving – from 17.00 hours until 21.00 hours on Thursday 12
November 2026:- B3022 High Street From its junction with Eton Court
southwards to its junction with Brocas Street.
Prohibition of Driving – from 17.45 hours until 21.00 hours on Thursday 12
November 2026:- Eton Court From its junction with the B3022 High Street
westwards to the entrance of Meadow Lane Car Park.
