The Lewisham (Prescribed Routes) (School Streets) (No.3) Traffic Order 2026
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Lewisham Borough Council on 24 September 2026 made the above-mentioned Order under the powers of sections of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984,
as amended. The Order will come into operation on 28 September 2026.
2. The general effect is to introduce a pedestrian and cycle zone restricting vehicle access in the vicinity of Twin Oaks Primary School, comprising the roads or parts of roads listed in column (2) of the Schedule to this Notice, operating during the times specified in column (3).
3. The prohibition applies to all motor vehicles, except those vehicles being used by persons who hold a valid permit, as specified in columns (4) and (5) of the Schedule to this notice, and such other vehicles as are exempt under the provisions of the Order.
4. A copy of the made Order, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order, may be viewed obtained by emailing a request to trafficorders@lewisham.gov.uk quoting reference PTO-1054.
5. If any person wishes to question the validity of the Order or of any of its provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the 1984 Act, or that any requirement of that Act or of any instrument made under that Act has not been complied with, that person may, within
6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
