SECTION 14 OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 BATH AND NORTH EAST SOMERSET COUNCIL
(PUBLIC FOOTPATH BC35/9, WINDSOR BRIDGE ROAD, BATH)
TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2026
Notice is given that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a closure to Public Footpath BC35/9 commencing from a junction with Upper Bristol Road at ST73526512 and proceeding in a generally SSE direction for approx 54m to a junction with Public Footpath BCRIV/1 at ST73546507.
This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the right of way: namely the applicant will be carrying out improvement works forming part of the Bath River Line Project.
The Order will come into force on 15th October 2026 and will be effective until 1st January 2027.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Upper Bristol Road – Locksbrook Road – Public Footpath BC35/7 – Public Footpath BCRIV/1. Vice Versa.
