(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2026
The Scottish Borders Council (Luke’s Brae & Duke Street, Coldstream) (Temporary Traffic Regulation) Order 2026 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 22 September 2026 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of one day between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00. The Order is required for BT works.
When the Order comes into effect no person shall (i) drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle; and (ii) permit any vehicle to wait or to be parked along Luke’s Brae and Duke Street, Coldstream. The alternative route for south westbound traffic is via market Street and Leet Street to the point of closure, for north eastbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing. (TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2026
The Scottish Borders Council (C113 Auchencrow) (Temporary Closing) Order 2026 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 08:00 on 24 September 2026 and is expected to remain in effect until 17:00 on 2 October 2026. The Order is required for SPEN works.
When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the C113 at Hilltop Cottage, Auchencrow.
The alternative route for eastbound traffic is via the C113, B6438, B6437 and C113 to the point of closure, for westbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing. A map showing the restriction and alternative routes can be seen at www.tellmescotland.gov.uk
