(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2026
The Scottish Borders Council (Kames West Mains, Leitholm) (Temporary Closing) Order 2026 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 21 September 2026 and is expected to remain in effect until 25 September 2026 between the hours of 07:00 and 17:00 each day. The Order is required for Go Fibre works.
When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along Kames West Mains, Leitholm.
The alternative route for northbound traffic is via the C95, C81, A697, B6461 and C95 to the point of closure, for southbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing. A map showing the restriction and alternative routes can be seen at www.tellmescotland.gov.uk
