(C2034 Rowney Green Lane, Rowney Green) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2034 Rowney Green Ln from its junction with U23202 Chapel Ln for a distance of 260 metres in a northerly direction.

Reason: Pole replacement by BT.

Alternative route: C2034 The Holloway, C2291 Redditch Rd, C2291 Swan St, C2001 Radford Rd and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day.

Commencing: 19 October 2026.

(U43408 Lower Cladswell Lane, Cookhill) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of U43408 Lower Cladswell Ln from a point 110 metres west of its junction with U43402 Cladswell Ln for a distance of 75 metres in a westerly direction.

Reason: Telegraph pole testing by Openreach.

Alternative route: U43402 Cladswell Ln, U43407 Mearse Ln, U43408 Lower Cladswell Ln (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day.

Commencing: 16 October 2026.

(U30004 Crofts Lane, Astwood Bank) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of U30004 Crofts Ln from its junction with C2038 Astwood Ln to its junction with U30013 Poplars Ln.

Reason: Telegraph pole replacement by Openreach.

Alternative route: C2038 Astwood Ln, U30008 Swansbrook Ln, U30004 Clayfields, U30004 Crofts Ln (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day.

Commencing: 16 October 2026.

(C2038 Astwood Lane, Feckenham) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Order made: To close that part of C2038 Astwood Ln from its junction with U30013 Rockhill Ln to its junction with U30015 Dark Ln.

Reason: Lay New Ducting by Openreach.

Alternative route: C2038 High St, B4090 Alcester Rd, B4090 The Saltway, B4090 Salt Way, B4092 Edgioake Ln, A441 Evesham Rd, C2038 Feckenham Rd and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 7 days (weekdays 09:00-14:30 and weekends 07:00-19:00).

Commencing: 28 September 2026.

(U31207 Church Road, Redditch) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Order made: To close that part of U31207 Church Rd from its junction with U31209 Adelaide St to its junction with U31000 Church Green West.

Reason: Carriageway patching by WCC.

Alternative route: Anticlockwise Diversion: U31207 Church Rd (part), B4160 Redditch Ringway, A441 Alvechurch Highway, A4023 Coventry Highway, B4160 Redditch Ringway, U31216 Red Lion St, U31218 Archer Rd and U32000 Easemore Rd. Clockwise Diversion: U32000 Easemore Rd, U31220 Other Rd, A4023 Coventry Highway Roundabout, B4160 Redditch Ringway and U31209 Adelaide St.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 nights (20:00-02:00). Commencing: 28 September 2026.

(U23602 Billesley Lane, Portway) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Order made: To close that part of U23602 Billesley Ln from its junction with C2175 Seafield Ln to its junction with A435 Alcester Rd.

Reason: Pole replacement by Openreach.

Alternative route: Diversion Northbound – U23602 Billesley Ln (part), A435 Alcester Rd (Northbound), A435 Portway Roundabout, A435 Alcester Rd (Southbound), C2292 Penn Ln, C2292 Alcester Rd, U23604 Whitepits Ln, C2175 Seafield Ln, U23602 Billesley Ln (part). Diversion Southbound – U23602 Billesley Ln (part), C2175 Seafield Ln, U23604 Whitepits Ln, C2292 Alcester Rd, A435 Alcester Rd (Northbound), U23602 Billesley Ln (part).

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day.

Commencing: 29 September 2026.

(A435 Alcester Road, Beoley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Order made: To close that part of A435 Alcester Rd from its junction with A435 Alcester Rd for a distance of 204 metres in a southerly direction until the boundary with Warwickshire.

Reason: Utility work by STW.

Alternative route: A435 Alcester Rd into Warwickshire, A4023 Coventry Highway into Warwickshire, A435 Alcester Rd (Northbound), B4480 Unnamed Ln.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days.

Commencing: 29 September 2026.

EXEMPTIONS: TO PERMIT ACCESS TO ANY LAND OR PREMISES FRONTING THE HIGHWAY AFFECTED WHERE THERE IS NO OTHER FORM OF ACCESS; AND TO ALLOW THE WORKS TO BE UNDERTAKEN.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended)

(Borough of Redditch) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2009 (Variation) Order 2026 (Prohibition of Waiting on Arrow Road South and Beoley Road East, Redditch)

On 10 September 2026 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides of roads in Redditch:-

Arrow Road South: (both sides) from its junction with Beoley Road for a distance of 5 metres in a northerly direction.

Beoley Road East: from its junction with Arrow Road South for a distance of 5 metres in an easterly and westerly direction.

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons’ vehicles.

The Order will come into operation on 1 October 2026.

The validity of the Council’s powers in making the Order or this exercise of them may be questioned by application to the High Court within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made.
