Warwickshire County Council has made the following
Temporary Traffic Orders:
RIDGE LANE, ANSLEY
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: Replacement of decayed telegraph pole.
Order Commences: 29 September 2026 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 29 September 2026.
Access & Diversion: Ridge Lane, Birchley Heath Road, Nuneaton Road, Coleshill Road, Pipers Lane and vice versa.
Contractor: Openreach, Tel: 03700 500792.
DOWTY AVENUE, BEDWORTH
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: Track laying works in carriageway.
Order Commences: 30 September 2026 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 30 September 2026.
Access & Diversion: Mavor Drive, Howells Close, Cattell Way and vice versa.
Contractor: Core Highways, Tel: 0330 043 3030.
Warwickshire County Council proposes to make the following Temporary Traffic Orders:
PUBLIC FOOTPATH F0050 (K/A BACK OF THE WALL FOOTPATH) BEDWORTH
Order Effect: Footpath closed to all traffic.
Reason for Order: To enable clearance of overhanging trees and vegetation and associated works, 08.00hrs - 16.00hrs.
Order Commences: 13 October 2026 for up to 6 months.
Anticipated Completion: 14 October 2026.
Access & Diversion: Saunders Avenue, Park Road, Black Bank, Rectory Drive and vice versa.
Contractor: Balfour Beatty, Tel: 03452 415302.
NORMAN AVENUE, NUNEATON
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: Works to renew pole, closed 09.00hrs - 15.30hrs.
Order Commences: 14 October 2026 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 14 October 2026.
Access & Diversion: Access will be maintained at all times with short delays.
Contractor: Core Highways, Tel: 0330 043 3030.
D1311 NITON ROAD, NUNEATON
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic between its junctions with Brading Road/Kingsbridge Road and Shanklin Drive.
Reason for Order: Carriageway patching and associated works, 09.30hrs - 15.30hrs.
Order Commences: 12 October 2026 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 12 October 2026.
Access & Diversion: Kingsbridge Road, Shanklin Drive and vice versa.
Contractor: Balfour Beatty, Tel: 01926 245650.
For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible.
