Broomhall Lane, Sunningdale - Temporary Road Closure due to Carriageway Repairs

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER NO. 2 2026

The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead intends, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to:-

Prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of B383 Broomhall Lane from its junction with Cedar Drive to its junction with B383 Station Road.

The alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order is via B383 Station Road, B383 Silwood Road, A329 London Road, B3020 Sunninghill Road, B3020 High Street, B3020 Bagshot Road, A330 Devenish Road, A30 London Road and B383 Broomhall Lane.

The purpose of the proposed Order is to facilitate works on the said road, namely carriageway repairs and there is the likelihood of danger to the public.

The proposed Order shall be in operation each day between 09:30 hours and 15:30 hours from Tuesday 13 October until Thursday 15 October 2026. Prohibition of driving will be in place when signs as prescribed by the Traffic Sign Regulations and General Directions 2016 are in place to indicate the said restrictions.
