Bull Bridge Lane - Temporary Road Closure due to Pole Replacement Works

Somerset Council Parish of Merriott Temporary Closure of Bull Bridge Lane

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Bull Bridge Lane - from 105 metres north of the junction with Church Street, northwards for a total distance of 20 metres.

This Order will enable Circet UK to carry out pole replacement works on behalf of Openreach.

The Order becomes effective on 7th October 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 13th October 2026 and last until 14th October 2026 between the hours of 08:00 - 18:30 for a total of 2 days.
