Mardock - Temporary Road Closure due to Openreach Pole Installation Works

Somerset Council Parish of Mardock Temporary Closure of Bower Hinton

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Bower Hinton - from outside the property number 11 Bower Hinton to outside the property number 52 Bower Hinton. A total distance of 182 metres. This Order will enable Southwest Overhead Services to install new poles on behalf of Openreach.

The Order becomes effective on 7th October 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 13th October 2026 and last until 14th October 2026 between the hours of 09:30 - 15:30 for a total of 2 days.
