What is happening?

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.  
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Bagmore Lane between its junction with Little Bagmore Lane and its junction with Red Lane.  
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Red Lane, Spain Lane, Burkham Lane, Basingstoke Road, Alton Road.  
DURATION OF THIS NOTICE: The restrictions imposed by this Order are in addition to those imposed under an emergency notice that came into effect on 11/09/2026 and the Order will remain in force for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. Notwithstanding it is expected that the closure will be required until 30th October 2026.  
The closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for RJS Contractors Limited to carry out repairs to a broken pipe and the road surface. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order, please contact: enquiries@rjscontractors.co.uk  
RJS Contractors Limited will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
