Glynswood - Temporary Road Closure due to Mains Leak Repair Works

Somerset Council Parish of Chard Town Temporary Closure of Gwynswood

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Gwynswood - from the junction with Sycamore Square to the junction with Pine Avenue. A total distance of 56 metres. This Order will enable Wessex Water to repair a mains leak.

The Order becomes effective on 23rd September 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 3rd October 2026 and last until 30th November 2026 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 60 days.
