Notice Of Intention - The Borough Of Welwyn Hatfield (Various Roads, Hatfield South And East, Hatfield) (Restriction Of Waiting And Permit Parking Zones) Order 2025 (Amendment) Order 202x - The Borough Of Welwyn Hatfield (Various Roads, Hatfield South And East, Hatfield) (Prohibition Of Stopping And Waiting On Verge Or Footway) Order 2025 - (Amendment) Order 202x

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that WELWYN HATFIELD BOROUGH COUNCIL, pursuant to arrangements made with Hertfordshire County Council, proposes to make the above Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.

The effect of the proposed Order(s) is to amend existing Orders relating to waiting restrictions, permit parking places and restrictions on parking on verges and footways in the roads described in Schedules to this Notice and shown on the deposited plans where applicable.

A copy of the proposed Order, the existing Order, statement of reasons and associated documents may be inspected, free of charge, from Wednesday 23 September 2026 until Thursday 15 October 2026 online at: https://www.welhat.gov.uk/parking-consultations, or during normal opening hours, at: Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council Offices, The Campus, Welwyn Garden City, Herts, AL8 6AE.

Any person wishing to object to the proposed Order must do so in writing, stating the grounds of objection, by no later than Thursday 15 October 2026. Please include your full name, postal address and contact details so that the Council can acknowledge and consider your objection.

No Waiting At Any Time Restrictions - Those Sections Of Roads Listed Below As Set Out In The Order And Accompanying Amended Plans.

Parts of Dearswood Avenue and Woods Avenue.

Amendment To Permit Parking Eligibility, Zone B21 - Those Properties Listed Below As Set Out In The Order.

SCHEDULE 3:
Removal Of No Stopping Or Waiting At Any Time On Verge Or Footway Restrictions - Those Sections Of Roads Listed Below As Set Out In The Order And Accompanying Amended Plans.

Parts of Furzen Crescent and Shallcross Crescent.

SCHEDULE 4:
Amendment Of No Stopping Or Waiting At Any Time On Verge Or Footway Restrictions Boundaries - Those Sections Of Roads Listed Below As Set Out In The Order And Accompanying Amended Plans.

Parts of Ash Drive, Bishops Rise, Cherry Way and Garden Avenue.
