TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council intends to make temporary traffic regulations, with the effects detailed below, to control traffic.
WHAT AND WHERE
No parking – no waiting at any time and no loading/unloading at any time (suspension of parking bay) –
• West Cliff Road (southern side), from a point approx.16m north-west from the shared property boundary of No.50 and No.48, running in a north-westerly direction to a point outside the property boundary of St Ambrose Church
• West Cliff Road (northern side), from a point approx.13m south-west from the shared property boundary of No.23 and No.25-27, running in a north-westerly direction to a point approx.3m south-east from the shared property boundary of No.37 and No.39
Anticipated dates 19 October 2026 until 30 October 2026
Road closed to all vehicles with no parking – no waiting at any time and no loading/unloading at any time –
• St Michaels Road, from the junction with West Hill Road, running in a easterly direction for a distance of approx.56m
• West Hill Road, from outside the property boundary of No.139 West Hill Road (Tollard Court), running in south-easterly direction for a distance of approx.26m to the junction with St Michaels Road
Anticipated dates 5 October 2026 until 23 October 2026
WHY: To facilitate works by SGN
ACCESS: Full emergency services access will be maintained and access to properties will be maintained depending on site safety

These arrangements may be amended/extended should works overrun or weather conditions delay operations. Restrictions may be in effect under this Order for up to 18 months, and could be further extended with the approval of the Secretary of State.
