TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING ORDER 2026
The Oldham Borough Council intend to make a Temporary Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from proceeding along that part of Old Church Street Oldham from its junction with Yorkshire Street for a distance of 30m in a northerly direction.
The alternative route will be via Horsedge Street, Rock Street and Bradshaw Street
The Order is to be made to provide a site compound area during demolition of Harry's Bar and will be in force for 18 months from 2nd October 2026, or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
