THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(HAZEL GROVE (FP374)) (TEMPORARY
PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City
Council propose to make an Order under Section 14(1)(a)
of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by
the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991,
prohibiting pedestrians from proceeding on Hazel Grove
FP374 in its entirety.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of six
months, but it is anticipated that the works will be
undertaken from 08:00 on 5 October 2026 until 5 April 2027.
The pedestrian diversion routes are:
Pedestrian diversion route 1: Orchard Road,
Chestnut Grove FP375, Bellamy Lane and vice versa.
Pedestrian diversion route 2: Orchard Road,
Bellamy Lane and vice versa.
The Order is required to facilitate construction of 5 new
bungalows as part of Wolverhampton Homes
re-development scheme by Keon Homes.
