ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
SECTION 14 (1) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION
OF THROUGH TRAFFIC
PART OF CHURCH SIDE, GOODMANHAM

Notice is hereby given that East Riding of Yorkshire
Council intends not less than seven days from the date
of this notice to make an Order, the effect of which will
be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along part
of Church Side, Goodmanham encompassing properties
Hollyhock Cottage northbound to Foldyard House
commencing 19 October 2026 at 08.00 hours until
23 October 2026 at 17.00 hours for the purposes
of excavation, supply and connection of a new water
supply works. The road closure is necessary to enable
the works to be carried out in a manner consistent
with ensuring the safety of the public.
The Order is valid for 18 months, but it is anticipated
that the works will be completed within five days.
The alternative route for traffic affected by the road
closure will be via Church Side and Main Street,
Goodmanham CP, Wolds Weighton Ward.
The diversion route will be signed at the time of
closure. The road will be closed to all through traffic
but access will be maintained for residents, emergency
vehicles and pedestrians.
