What is happening?
THE BOROUGH OF LUTON (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND LOADING) (CONSOLIDATION) (AMENDMENT NO.**) ORDER 2026. THE BOROUGH OF LUTON (STREET PARKING PLACES) (CONSOLIDATION) (AMENDMENT NO.**) ORDER 2026. THE BOROUGH OF LUTON (OFF-STREET PARKING PLACES) (CONSOLIDATION) (AMENDMENT NO.**) ORDER 2026. THE BOROUGH OF LUTON (SPEED LIMITS) (CONSOLIDATION) (AMENDMENT NO.**) ORDER 2026.
NOTICE is hereby given that Luton Borough Council, the Highway Authority for the said Borough, intends to make the above Orders under the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended).
The general effect of the Orders will be to:
1. Introduce a length of No Waiting at Any Time restriction on Raynham Way on the even numbered side only from its junction with Barford Rise in a northeasterly direction towards Wigmore Lane to join with the current No Waiting at Any Time restriction on location.
2. Introduce the off-street parking area on Boyle Close as parking for Resident Permit Holders Only (Zone HT), operating between 8am to 6pm on Monday to Friday inclusive.
3. Introduce a 20mph speed limit restriction on Putteridge Road the whole length.
