NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Boston Borough Council proposes to make the above order (hereafter called “the Variation Order”) to vary the Boston Borough Council (Off-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement and Consolidation) Order 2022 (hereafter called the “Original Order”), to the extent shown below. In all other aspects the Original Order will remain unchanged.
Commencement
It is intended to bring the Variation Order into operation on or after 14th October 2026.
Variation
The effect of the Variation Order, is to:
• Add Rosegarth Street Car Park, Boston to the Schedule of designated off-street parking places;
• Permitting payment of parking charges at Council operated off-street parking places by cash, debit card, credit card, contactless payment; and approved electronic payment methods;
• Introducing provisions enabling the Council to designate parking bays within Council operated off-street parking places for the exclusive use of electric vehicles whilst actively connected to and charging from charging equipment provided for that purpose;
and
• Making ancillary amendments to the interpretation and operational provisions of the Order in connection with electric vehicle charging bays.
