CLAYTON-LE-DALE, RIBBLE VALLEY
PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER 2026
The above Order, made on 26 August 2026, under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980, will divert the public footpath running from the eastern edge of Blackburn Road, Ribchester, through the vehicular access gates, and through 3 of the properties at De Tabley Mews to the access track at the rear of 2 De Tabley Mews, to a line running from the footway of Blackburn Road in a generally south-easterly direction for 10 metres and through a gap adjacent to the vehicular gates, then for 40 metres along the driveway turning south-west for 40 metres to the same point to the south-east of 2 De Tabley Mews as shown on the Order Map.
The Order will amend the Definitive Map and Statement for the County of Lancashire accordingly.
A copy of the Order and the Order Map have been placed and may be seen free of charge at my offices from 9am to 5pm on weekdays. Copies of the Order and Map may be bought there at the price of £1.00.
Any representations about, or objections to the Order may be sent in writing to the Director of Law and Governance, Lancashire County Council, PO Box 100, County Hall, Preston, PR1 0LD (REF: LSG4/FJ4/104345) not later than Thursday 14th October 2026. Please state the grounds on which they are made.
If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, Lancashire County Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.
