C445 Kirkinch, Newtyle - Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?
TRAFFIC ORDER
On 14/09/26, Angus Council made The Angus Council (C445 Kirkinch, Newtyle) (Temporary Prohibition of Driving and Waiting) Order 2026, under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, so that road works may be undertaken. The Order will come into force on 21/09/26 from which date it is anticipated that the work will last for a period of 12 days. However, the maximum duration in terms of the Act is 18 months. The effect of the Order is to prohibit the driving and waiting of vehicles on the C445 Drumkilbo to Kirkinch road from its junction with Mains of Fullarton Road (U141) in a south-easterly direction for a distance of 800m or thereby. The alternative route for vehicular traffic is via the Drumkilbo to Kirkinch (C445), A94 Forfar to Coupar Angus, B954 Alyth to Muirhead, Newtyle to Forfar (C16) and C445 Drumkilbo to Kirkinch roads. The reverse route applies. Access for pedestrians, emergency vehicles and vehicular access to properties will be maintained. Full details of the Order are available at www.angus.gov.uk/trafficorders
