What is happening?
TRAFFIC ORDER
On 14/09/26, Angus Council made The Angus Council (A926 Lindsay Street & B955 Slade Road, Kirriemuir) (Temporary Prohibition of Driving and Waiting) Order 2026 under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 so that carriageway and footway works may be undertaken. The Order will come into force on 21/09/26 from which date it is anticipated that the work will last for a period of six weeks. However, the maximum duration in terms of the Act is 18 months. The effect of the Order is to prohibit the driving and waiting of vehicles on A926 Lindsay Street and B955 Slade Road from the junction of A926 Lindsay Street with A928 Glamis Road in a north-westerly direction for a distance of 750m or thereby. The works will be carried out over four phases. Access for pedestrians, emergency vehicles and access to properties will be maintained.
