TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED)
Notice is hereby given that the City Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make the following Temporary One Way Traffic Order(s): ORDER NO. MCC152589617: The City of Manchester (Heaton Park Road, Higher Blackley Ward) (Temporary One Way Vehicular Traffic) Order 2026 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the Order is to make Heaton Park Road One Way From 53 Heaton Park Road to Victoria Avenue. (permitted direction of travel).
The alternative routes for traffic will be: Victoria Avenue, Glenbrook Road, Heaton Park Road.
The City Council is satisfied that this restriction is necessary in order To facilitate Repairs to water mains It is expected that the works will be in progress from 3rd October 2026 to 4th October 2026 The Order shall come into operation on 3rd October 2026 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months.
If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period.
