TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF
THE U4555 LIME TREE PLACE, STOWMARKET
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U4555 Lime Tree Place, Stowmarket from Gipping Way to Bridge Street to facilitate footway slurry sealing works.
Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Bridge Street, Ipswich Road, Lime Tree Place and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 23/09/2026 - 25/09/2026 from 8am-5pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF
THE U4718 REDE LANE, HENLEY
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U4718 Rede Lane, Henley from the junction with Main Road for 170 metres westbound to facilitate tree cutting works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Main Road, Mill Lane, Coopers Road, Church Lane, Barham, Norwich Road, Ipswich Road, Church Lane, Claydon and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate on 23/09/2026 from 9.30am - 2.30pm. If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE AND SUSPENSION OF
ONE-WAY TRAFFIC ON PART OF
THE U4555 TAKERS LANE, STOWMARKET
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U4555 Takers Lane, Stowmarket from Ipswich Road to number 45 to facilitate manhole cover replacement works.
Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Takers Lane, Bridge Street, Ipswich Road and vice versa.
For the duration of this closure, there will be a temporary suspension of one-way traffic on the U4555 Takers Lane, Stowmarket from Ipswich Road to Bridge Street eastbound.
It is intended that these measures will operate from 6pm on 23/09/2026 - 6am on 24/09/2026 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).
