theithiwch tua 12.1 milltir i’r gylchfan yn Llanilar. Cymrwch y
troad cyntaf a pharhewch ar hyd yr A485 hyd at y gyffordd â’r
A487T yn Llanfarian. Trowch i’r dde i’r A487T a theithiwch hyd at
y gyffordd â’r A4120 yn Nhollborth y De. Trowch i’r dde i’r A4120
a theithiwch y pellter byr hyd at y gyffordd â’r B4340. Trowch i’r
dde i’r B4340 a theithiwch tua 11.5 milltir i bwynt sydd i’r
gorllewin o’r man lle mae’r ffordd ar gau; ac i’r gwrthwyneb.
Pellter o tua 35 milltir i gyd. Bydd y Gorchymyn yn parhau mewn
grym hyd nes y bydd gwaith i adnewyddu pibell sment asbestos
presennol y prif gyflenwad dwˆr ar ran Dwˆr Cymru wedi’i gwblhau
ymhen tua 5 mis. Cafodd y Gorchymyn ei roi ar waith ar
25/09/2026 a gall barhau mewn grym am 18 mis.
Ceredigion County Council
NOTICE is given that the Council have made the Ceredigion
County Council, (B4340 Ystrad Meurig) (Temporary Prohibition
of Through Traffic) Order 2026 to prohibit any vehicle
proceeding along that highway. Pedestrian access maintained.
Closed 24 hours daily. The alternative route for westbound
traffic from a point east of the closure is to travel along the
B4340, continuing onto the B4343 Pontrhydfendigaid, and
travel to its junction with the A485, Station Road at Tregaron.
Turn right onto the A485, Station Road and travel for
approximately 12.1 miles to the roundabout at Llanilar. Take
the first exit to continue on the A485 and travel to its junction
with the A487T at Llanfarian. Turn right onto the A487T and
travel to its junction with the A4120 at Southgate. Turn right
onto the A4120 and travel a short distance to its junction with
the B4340. Turn right onto the B4340 and travel for
approximately 11.5 miles to a point west of the closure; and
vice versa. A total distance of approximately 35 miles. The
Order will continue in force until renewal works of the existing
asbestos cement mains for Welsh Water are completed in
approximately 5 months. The Order was implemented on
25/09/2026 and may continue in force for 18 months .
