ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 –SECTION 14

(WESTON ROAD, MORETON PINKNEY)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)  ORDER  2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Weston Road, Moreton Pinkney as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Weston Road, Moreton Pinkney from Banbury Road to entrance to Weston Hill Farm.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during drainage works and carriageway repairs.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 28th September 2026 and will continue in force for a period of 18 months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for 1 day.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use Banbury Lane and Banbury Road.

(YELVERTOFT ROAD, ELKINGTON)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Yelvertoft Road, Elkington as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Yelvertoft Road, Elkington from the junction of Stanford Road to Road to Byway to Winwick.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during meter exchange works.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 6th October 2026 and will continue in force for a period of 18 months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for 1 day.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use Stanford Road, Ashby Road, Stanford Road, High Street and Elkington Road.

(EYDON ROAD, WOODFORD HALSE)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)  ORDER  2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Eydon Road, Woodford Halse as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Eydon Road, Woodford Halse from the junction of Eydon Road to Bungalow Farm.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during the clearing of blockages.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 8th October 2026 and will continue in force for a period of 18 months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for 5 days.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use Byfield Road, Woodford Road, Eydon Road, South Street, Parsons Street or High Street (dependant on one way system) Scrivens Hill, Byfield Road, Woodford Road, Church Street and Eydon Road.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Hellidon Road, Charwelton as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Hellidon Road, Charwelton from the junction of A361.to Steppington Farm.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during meter maintenance.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 23rd September 2026 and will continue in force for a period of 18 months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use A361, Boddington Road, Priors Marston Road, Byfield Road and Hellidon Road.
