TEMPORARY CLOSURE 403003 ROAD FROM JUNCTION AT BRAMBLE DEAN TO JUNCTION AT THE BUNGALOW
(LITTLEDEAN PARISH) FOREST OF DEAN DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 403003 Road from junction at Bramble Dean to junction at the bungalow from outside of the property known as ‘The Poplars’ to outside of the property known as ‘Walnut Tree Cottage’ for a distance of approximately 280 metres. The reason for the closure is for works on behalf of BT Openreach
The road is expected to be closed between the hours of 09:00 and 17:00 on 25th September 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE C46 CROWGATE LANE
(WESTBURY ON SEVERN PARISH) FOREST OF DEAN DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C46 Crowgate Lane Road from outside of the property known as’Crowgate Cottage’ for a distance of approximately 85 metres.
The reason for the closure is for works on behalf of Network Plus
The road is expected to be closed from 08:00hrs on 30th September 2026 to 18:00hrs on 1st October 2026. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE B4231 STATION ROAD
(LYDNEY TOWN) FOREST OF DEAN DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the B4321 Station Road from a point 40 metres north of the level crossing to a point 20 metres south of the level crossing for a distance of approximately 60 metres.
The reason for the closure is for maintenance works by Network Rail
The road is expected to be closed from 23:55hrs on 28th September 2026 until 06:00hrs on 29th September 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

(LYDNEY TOWN) FOREST OF DEAN DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C15 Primrose Hill Road from a point south of its junction with Lynwood Road to a point north of its junction with Lynwood Road for a distance of approximately 145 metres.
The reason for the closure is for repairs to defective carriageway reinstatement works
The road is expected to be closed on 30th September 2026 only.
However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

(HUNTLEY PARISH) FOREST OF DEAN DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C45 Grange Court Lane Road from its junction with the A40 to its junction with Whitlow Lane for a distance of approximately 1500 metres.
The reason for the closure is for road patching works
There will be no waiting, stopping, or loading permitted throughout the duration of the said works.
The road is expected to be closed and restricted from 28th September 2026 until 30th September 2026 but the closure may be extended, if necessary, until the works have been completed.

(DRYBROOK PARISH) FOREST OF DEAN DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 405178 Eastwood Road, from outside of the property known as ‘Woodend’ to outside the property known as ‘Lilac Cottage’, for a distance of approximately 50 metres.
The reason for the closure is for new electricity connection works.
The road is expected to be closed from 08:00hrs on 22nd September 2026 until 16:00hrs on 28th September 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PUBLIC FOOTPATH RWD 34
(WEST DEAN PARISH) FOREST OF DEAN DISTRICT
NOTICE is hereby given that Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order to close temporarily under Sections 14, 15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 (as amended) part of Public Footpath RWD 34 from its junction with Public Footpath RWD 32 & RWD 33 in a generally north easterly direction for approximately 500 metres.
The footpath falls within the Parish of West Dean within the Forest of Dean District, Gloucestershire.
The closure is necessary to safeguard the health and safety of public whilst filming of fast-moving vehicles is completed.
The Order will come into force from 07:00hrs on the 21st September 2026, and it is anticipated that the Public Footpath will remain closed until 19:00hrs on 23rd September 2026. After this date if the closure is still required it will be necessary to apply to the Secretary of State for an extension of time.

(WEST DEAN PARISH) FOREST OF DEAN DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 405047 Lansdown Walk, from outside the property known as ‘Lansdowne House’ to outside the property known as ‘The Cobble’ for a distance of approximately 62 metres. The reason for the closure is for sewer connection works to a new build house.
The said road is expected to be closed from 08:00hrs on 12th October 2026 until 17:00hrs on 13th October 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close and restrict part of the 406075 Greenway Road from outside the rear of the property known as ‘No.55 Church Road’ to outside the rear of the property known as ‘No. 59 Church Road’ for a distance of approximately 30 metres.
The reason for the closure and restriction is for works on behalf of Severn Trent Water
There will be no waiting, stopping, or loading permitted throughout the duration of the said works.
