(BALMORAL ROAD ZONE NA EXTENSION) AMENDMENT NO 8 ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Watford Borough Council, acting as agents for Hertfordshire County Council proposes to make the above mentioned order, pursuant to arrangements made under Section 19 of the Local Government Act 2000 and the Local Authorities (Arrangements for the Discharge of Functions) (England) Regulations 2012 with the Hertfordshire County Council, and in exercise of the powers conferred on that County under sections 1, 2, 4, 32, 35, 45, 46, 46A, 47, 49, 51 and 53 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and the Road Traffic Act 1991 and Part 6 of The Traffic Management Act 2004 and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act.
The general effect of this order is to:
• Introduce Permit Parking Area (Zone NA), in Balmoral Road between St Albans Road and Bradshaw Road through
• Introducing on the south side of Balmoral Road, adjacent to properties 2-46 Balmoral Road, a restriction of Permit Holders Only Monday to Saturday 8.00-10.00am and 5.00-10.00pm (Callowland Zone NA)
• Include properties between 1-48 Balmoral Road, which meet the criteria for parking permits for Zone NA to be included with the Controlled Parking Zone Order.
• A breakdown of the permit charges as of September 2026 is as follows:
