What is happening?
Highways
Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984,
makes or intends to make the following Orders.
GRAVESHAM AREA
Meopham Green, Meopham, DA13 0QF (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Meopham Green, Meopham, on or after 12th October 2026 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from A227 Wrotham Road eastwards for 40m.
The alternative route is via A227 Wrotham Road, Meopham Green and vice versa.
Round Street, Gravesend, DA13 9AY (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
Because of Southern Water Services works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Round Street, Gravesend, on or after 28th September 2026 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside 1 Gables Cottages.
The alternative route is via Round Street, From Junction With Copt Hall Road To Junction With Henhurst Road, Copthall Road, White Post Lane and vice versa.
