RHODDIR HYSBYSIAD DRWY HYN bod y Cyngor fel yr Awdurdod Priffyrdd ar gyfer Pen-y-bont ar Ogwr, wrth arfer ei bwerau dan Adran 14(1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 (fel y’i diwygiwyd), yn bwriadu creu Gorchymyn, a hynny heb fod yn llai na 7 diwrnod o ddyddiad yr Hysbysiad hwn, a fydd yn cyflwyno dros dro y cyfyngiadau a nodir yn yr atodlen isod.
Mae'r Gorchymyn er diogelwch y cyhoedd oherwydd gwaith adfer diffygion sydd yn angenrheidiol ac am nad yw’r lôn gerbydau’n ddigon llydan i gynnal mynediad i gerbydau tra bo’r gwaith yn mynd rhagddo.
Daw'r Gorchymyn i rym ar 07/10/2026 a bydd yn parhau mewn grym am gyfnod na fydd yn hwy na 18 mis neu nes bydd y gwaith wedi'i gwblhau, p'un bynnag sydd gynharaf.
Rhagwelir y bydd y gwaith arfaethedig yn cael ei wneud rhwng 09:00 a 16:00 ar 13 Hydref 2026.
Atodlen-Ni chaiff unrhyw berson beri i unrhyw gerbyd deithio am tua 30 metr o Litchard Cross, y tu allan i rif 64. Y llwybr amgen ar gyfer cerbydau yw trwy Coity Road, Davies Avenue, Taylor Road, Litchard Park.
Ni ellir rhoi mynediad trwy ardal y cyfyngiad i’r Heddlu na’r Gwasanaethau Tân ac Ambiwlans sy’n ymateb i argyfyngau.
Cynhelir mynediad i gerddwyr at bob eiddo o fewn ardal y cyfyngiad ar hyd llwybrau a ddiffinnir trwy gydol y cyfnod cau. Fodd bynnag, bydd y cyfyngiadau’n berthnasol dim ond ar adegau ac i’r graddau a ddangosir o bryd i’w gilydd ar arwyddion traffig a osodir gan Reoliadau a Chyfarwyddiadau Cyffredinol Arwyddion Traffig 2016.

BRIDGEND COUNTY BOROUGH COUNCIL
(LITCHARD CROSS, BRIDGEND) TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council as the Highway Authority for Bridgend in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) intends in not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice to make an Order which will temporarily introduce the restriction set out in the schedule below.
The Order is in the interest of public safety due to defect remedials works required and there is insufficient width of carriageway to maintain vehicular access during works.
The Order will come into force on 07/10/2026 and will continue in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until such time as the works are completed, whichever is the sooner. It is anticipated that the planned works will be undertaken between the hours of 09:00 and 16:00 on 13th October 2026.
Schedule-No person shall cause any vehicle to proceed for approximately 30 meters of Litchard Cross, outside number 64. The alternative route for vehicles is via Coity Road, Davies Avenue, Taylor Road, Litchard Park.
Access cannot be provided through the restriction for Police, Fire and Ambulance Services responding to emergencies. Pedestrian access to all properties within the restriction will be maintained along defined routes throughout the period of the closure.
The restrictions shall however only apply at such time and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
