ASHFORD AREA
B2067 Bonnington Road, Bilsington, TN25 7AX (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER SEPTEMBER 2026
To allow pole and cabling works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of B2067 Bonnington Road, Bilsington from 28th September 2026 with estimated completion by 29th September 2026, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30, or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed opposite Gorsedown Farm, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

To allow new water connection works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of B2067 Bonnington Road, Bonnington from 12th October 2026, with estimated completion by 13th October 2026, or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between the junctions with Boat Lane and New Road Hill, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

Bedlam Lane, Egerton, TN27 9BY (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER SEPTEMBER 2026
To allow pole and cabling works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Bedlam Lane, Egerton from 28th September 2026 with estimated completion by 29th September 2026, between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00, or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed opposite Myrtle Cottages, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Bedlam Lane, Headcorn Road, Smarden Road, Wheeler Street, Station Road, High Street, North Street, Kings Road, Lenham Road, Liverton Hill, Lenham Heath Road, Church Hill, Egerton Road, Charing Heath Road, Pluckley Road, Charing Road, Forge Hill, The Pinnock, C86 Mundy Bois Road Junction With C146 Pinnock Road To Junction With Green Hill Lane, Mundy Bois Road, Crocken Hill Road, Forstal Road and vice versa.

Branch Road, Chilham, CT4 8DN (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER SEPTEMBER 2026
To allow gas works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Branch Road, Chilham from 28th September 2026, with estimated completion by 5th October 2026, or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of Harvest House, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Bagham Road, Bagham Lane, A28 Ashford Road, Branch Road and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
Catts Hill, The Street & Appledore Road, Stone. (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER OCTOBER 2026
To allow new water mains works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Catts Hill, The Street & Appledore Road, Stone from 12th October 2026, with estimated completion by 16th October 2026, or until the works have been completed.
The roads will be closed at the junctions where they meet, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via:
Diversion 1 - Catts Hill, Appledore Road, Ferry Road, B2080 Tenterden Road, Reading Street, B2067 East Hill, Oaks Road, East Cross, High Street, West Cross, B2082 Smallhythe Road, Peening Quarter Road, Poplar Road, Stocks Road, Wittersham Road and vice versa.
Diversion 2 - Church Hill and Top Road.
Cheesemans Green Lane, Kingsnorth. (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER SEPTEMBER 2026
To allow drainage works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Cheesemans Green Lane, Kingsnorth from 28th September 2026, with estimated completion by 3rd October 2026, or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed 30m either side of the culvert, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

Church Road, Stone (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER OCTOBER 2026
To allow overhead cabling works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Church Road, Stone from 1st October 2026 for up to one day, or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed at the junction with Top Road heading north approximately 80m, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Church Road, Top Road, Catts Hill, The Street and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
Kenardington Road, Appledore, TN26 2BS (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER OCTOBER 2026
To allow new water connection works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Kenardington Road, Appledore from 12th October 2026, with estimated completion by 14th October 2026, or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed at the rear of Horns Place Oast, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Appledore Road, B2067 Warehorne Road, Kenardington Road, Bench Hill, Woodchurch Road and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
Kenardington Road, Appledore & Appledore Road, Kenardington. (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER OCTOBER 2026
To allow overhead cabling works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Kenardington Road, Appledore & Appledore Road, Kenardington from 15th October 2026 for up to one day, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30, or until the works have been completed.
Kenardington Road & Appledore Road will be closed between the junctions with The Wish and Snargate Road, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Appledore Road, B2067 Warehorne Road, Kenardington Road, Bench Hill, Woodchurch Road and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
Lambden Road, Pluckley, TN27 0RB (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER OCTOBER 2026
To allow installation works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Lambden Road, Pluckley from 12th October 2026, with estimated completion by 16th October 2026, or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Little Lambden, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Lambden Road, Station Road, The Street, Forge Hill, Smarden Road and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
Lower Road, Stone. (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER OCTOBER 2026
To allow trial hole works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Lower Road, Stone from 12th October 2026, with estimated completion by 16th October 2026, or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed at the junction with Appledore Road, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Lower Road, Appledore Road and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
Old Surrenden Manor Road, Bethersden. (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER OCTOBER 2026
To allow pole testing works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Old Surrenden Manor Road, Bethersden from 15th October 2026 for up to one day, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30, or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between the entrance to the industrial park and Old Surrenden Manor Bungalows heading 1540m to A28 Ashford Road, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via A28 Ashford Road, Forge Hill, Mill Road, Old Surrenden Manor Road and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
St Ambrose Green, Wye, TN25 5DG (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER OCTOBER 2026
To allow heavy jetting works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibiting through traffic on St Ambrose Green, Wye from 13th October 2026 for up to one day, between the hours of 08:30 and 18:30, or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in its entirety, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
There is no alternative route for this closure, however, residential and emergency access will be maintained at all times when it is safe to do so.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
Sandhurst Lane, Rolvenden. (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER OCTOBER 2026
To allow pole and cabling works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Sandhurst Lane, Rolvenden from 14th October 2026 with estimated completion by 15th October 2026, between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00, or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Kenthurst, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Sandhurst Lane, Dingleden, Rolvenden Road, B2086 Benenden Road, Sandhurst Lane and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
The Street, Westwell, TN25 4LH (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER OCTOBER 2026
To allow overhead cabling works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of The Street, Westwell from 16th October 2026 for up to one day, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30, or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between the junctions with Westwell Lane and Watery Lane, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via The Street, Watery Lane, A20 Maidstone Road, Sandyhurst Lane, Lenacre Street, Eastwell Lane and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
Troy Town Lane, Brook, TN25 5PQ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER OCTOBER 2026
To allow new water connection works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Troy Town Lane, Brook from 14th October 2026, with estimated completion by 19th October 2026, or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed at the land off Troy Town Lane, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
There is no alternative route for this closure, however, residential and emergency access will be maintained at all times when it is safe to do so.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
Woodchurch Road, Appledore, TN26 2AX (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER OCTOBER 2026
