TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE (PAULTONS STREET) 2026
The Council of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea give notice that they intend to make a Temporary Traffic Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Schedule 1 Section 14 (1)(a) and all other enabling powers prohibiting motorised vehicles from proceeding or waiting in roads cited below.
Paulton Street to be closed from the junction of the Old Church Street to outside of number 11 Paulton Street.
The road is to be closed to vehicles for utility works.
The restrictions will come into force from 08.00hrs on Tuesday 6th October 2026 until 17.00hrs on Wednesday 7th October 2026, or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
Diverted through traffic may use Old Church Street, Chelsea Embankment, Oakley Street, King's Road, Paultons Square, Paultons Street.
The one-way working of the eastern leg of Paultons Square and Paulton Street between Old Church Street and Paultons Square shall be suspended for the duration of the road closure.
Access will be maintained for residents and occupiers. Nothing in this Order shall apply to:
• anything done with the permission of, or at the direction of, a police constable in uniform.
• anything done in connection with the execution of said works.
