Norfolk County Council in exercise of its powers under Sections 14(1), 14(2) and 15(8) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, hereby give notice that:

i) THEY PROPOSE TO MAKE Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders in respect of the following roads:

ACLE – The Street from its junction with Old Road for 40m northwards to facilitate duct with chamber and cab installation works from 1st to 7th October 2026 (may continue until 18th November 2026). BRINTON – U14127 The Street from 114m northeast of its junction with Thornage Road for 30m north-eastwards to facilitate Sharrington culvert CCTV survey works on 1st October 2026 (may continue until 12th November 2026). CATFIELD – U19052 School Road from its junction with C405 Ludham Road for 50m north-westwards to facilitate sluice valve repair works from 29th September to 1st October 2026 (may continue until 12th November 2026). CORPUSTY AND SAXTHORPE – The Street from 30m west of its junction with Mountains Road for 30m westwards to facilitate new service connection works between 09:30 and 15:30 on 30th September 2026 (may continue until 11th November 2026). Alternative route is via: The Street, Horsehoe Lane, Heydon Road. The works promoter is BT.

CROMER – Jetty Street from its junction with Tucker Street for 30m northwards to facilitate building maintenance and scaffolding erection works from 1st October to 6th November 2026 (may continue until 6th May 2027). Alternative route is via: Jetty Cliff, Promenade, High Street. The works promoter is BM Norfolk.

FELTHORPE – A) Bilney Lane from its junction with The Street to its junction with Church Lane, B) Church Lane from its junction with Brands Lane to its junction with Taverham Road, C) Brands Lane from its junction with Church Lane to its junction with Reepham Road, D) Hall Lane from its junction with The Street for 200m northwards and E) Mill Lane from its junction with The Street for 400m northwards to facilitate traffic signage installation works from 28th September to 16th October 2026 (may continue until 27th November 2026). FLEGGBURGH – U69345 Hall Road from its junction with B1152 Main Road for 60m westwards to facilitate duct with cab and chamber installation works from 1st to 5th October 2026 (may continue until 16th November 2026). Alternative route is via: B1152 Main Road, Thurne Road, Manor Farm Road, Hall Road (Ashby with Oby, Fleggburgh). The works promoter is CityFibre Metro Networks.

FREETHORPE AND HALVERGATE – Freethorpe Road from its junction with Mill Road for 250m south-westwards to facilitate network chamber installation works from 28th September to 2nd October 2026 (may continue until 13th November 2026). Alternative route is via: Mill Road, Moulton Road, Halvergate Road, Reedham Road, Lower Green (Beighton, Freethorpe, Halvergate). The works promoter is CityFibre Metro Networks.

FULMODESTON WITH BARNEY – C316 Fulmodeston Road from 620m north of its junction with Moor End Lane for 25m northwards to facilitate CCTV survey works between 05:00 and 17:00 on 1st October 2026 (may continue until 12th November 2026). GREAT AND LITTLE PLUMSTEAD – Sandhole Lane from 50m east of its junction with Highfield for 40m eastwards to facilitate manhole cover repairs on 1st October 2026 (may continue until 1st October 2026). GREAT YARMOUTH – Tar Works Road from 145m west of its junction with Caister Road for 180m south-westwards to facilitate flood defence improvement works from 28th September to 9th October 2026 (may continue until 20th November 2026). HELLESDON – Drayton Wood Road from its junction with St Andrews Road for 236m southwards to facilitate carriageway repair works on 29th September 2026 (may continue until 10th November 2026). HINGHAM – Dereham Road from its junction with Greenacre Road for 110m northwards to facilitate frame and cover repair works from 28th September to 1st October 2026 (may continue until 12th November 2026). SWAFFHAM – A) A1065 London Street from its junction with C768 Watton Road for 215m northwards, B) U33353 Globe Hill/Haspalls Road from its junction with A1065 London Street for 80m westwards, C) U30022 Theatre Street from its junction with U33353 Haspalls Road for 30m northwards and D) U30022 Theatre Street from its junction with C44 Cley Road for 240m southwards to facilitate carriageway resurfacing works. The Roads A-C will be temporarily closed (except for pedestrian access); traffic (constituting any class of vehicle) over the Roads A-C shall be temporarily prohibited to park, stop, load, and/or unload and Road D shall be temporarily subject to the suspension of the one-way system (southbound) to allow vehicles to travel in both a northerly and southerly direction between 19:00 and 06:00 from 28th September to 1st October 2026 (may continue until 12th November 2026).
