Sutton Lane - Temporary Road Closure To Civils Works
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE SUTTON LANE, HILTON
WHEN: 12 October to 23 October 2026 (08:00 to 18:00)
WHERE: Sutton Lane, Hilton between Ridge View Cottage and Sutton Brook Farm.
REASON: To facilitate civils works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Dish Lane, Marlpit Lane, Common Lane, Schoolpiece Lane, Limbersitch Lane, Sutton Lane, Derby Road, Uttoxeter Road, Main Street and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road.
The road will reopen as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
