Burton Road - Temporary Road Closure For Surface Dressing
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE BURTON ROAD, WOODVILLE
WHEN: 15 October to 23 October 2026 (20:00 to 04:00)
WHERE: Burton Road, Woodville between James Street and Swadlincote Road.
REASON: To facilitate pre patching for surface dressing.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Burton Road, Midway Road, Church Street, Derby Road, Swadlincote Road and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road.
The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
