THE NORFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL

(DOWNHAM MARKET, U23081 HILLCREST) (SCHOOL KEEP CLEARWAY) ORDER 202X

The Norfolk County Council propose to make the aforementioned Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of this Order will be to:

1. Introduce a school keep clearway as defined by Part 6 of Schedule 7 of The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016 and the effect of this being to prohibit vehicles from stopping or waiting along the following length of road:

1. The restriction will only apply between 08:00 to 09:00 and 14:30 to 16:00 Monday to Friday between the 1st September and 31st July each calendar year.

This proposal was previously advertised on the 11th September 2026. However, due to an administrative error the road description was incorrect. The proposals are now being readvertised as a result.

A copy of the draft Order, a plan and a Statement of Reasons for making the Order can be viewed online at www.norfolk.citizenspace.com. Copies are also available for inspection at Norfolk County Council, County Hall, Norwich, NR1 2DH and at the offices of Borough Council of Kings Lynn and West Borough Norfolk, King’s Court, Chapel Street, King’s Lynn, Norfolk, PE30 1EX during normal office hours. Online viewing is recommended.

Any objections and representations relating to the proposed Order must be made in writing and must specify the grounds on which they are made. All correspondence for this proposal must be received at the office of nplaw, Norfolk County Council, County Hall, Martineau Lane, Norwich, NR1 2DH, marked for the attention of the nplaw Traffic Regulation Order Team by 13th October 2026.
