TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that in accordance with Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Southampton City Council made the above Order on 14th September 2026.
1. The effect of the Order will be to close Coxford Road from its junction with Abbotsfield Close to its junction with Grafton Gardens.
2. The Order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road. These works are for gas works.
3. The alternative route will be Coxford Road, Lords Hill Way, Woburn Road and Dunvegan Drive.
4. The Order will come into force on 21st September 2026 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the completion of the works, whichever is sooner. It is expected that the works will be complete by 2nd October 2026.
