(A59 LIVERPOOL ROAD, BRETHERTON, CHORLEY BOROUGH) (REVOCATION, 40MPH AND 50MPH SPEED LIMITS) ORDER 202*
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Lancashire County Council propose to make the above Speed Limit Order under Section 84 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to:
1. Revoke the "Lancashire County Council (Various Locations, Burnley, Chorley, Fylde, Hyndburn, Lancaster, Pendle, South Ribble And West Lancashire) (Revocation, 30mph, 40mph, 50mph, 60mph And Derestricted Speed Limits) (21/22 No1)) Order 2023" insofar as it relates to:
a) Item d) of Schedule 3;
b) Item d) of Schedule 4.
2. Introduce a 40mph speed limit on Liverpool Road (A59), Bretherton, from a point 180 metres south of its roundabout junction with Liverpool Road (A59), Much Hoole to its junction with Bank Bridge (A59).
3. Introduce a 50mph speed limit on Liverpool Road (A59), Bretherton, from its roundabout junction with Liverpool Road (A59), Much Hoole for a distance of 180 metres in a southerly direction.
A copy of the draft Order and associated documents for proposing to make the Order may be inspected during normal office hours at the offices of Chorley Borough Council, Town Hall, Market Street, Chorley, PR7 1DP and at the offices of The Director of Law and Governance, Lancashire County Council, County Hall, Fishergate, Preston PR1 8XJ, and on Lancashire County Councils Website
