Between Oak Lane, Kingswinford, Himley Road, Dudley, And Oak Farm Landfill - Temporary Closure of Public Rights Of Way

DUDLEY METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14(1)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council have made the following Order,

Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council (Temporary Closure of Public Rights Of Way Between Oak Lane, Kingswinford, Himley Road, Dudley, And Oak Farm Landfill) Order 2026 the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit any pedestrians proceeding on the Public Rights of Way as listed due to the risk of danger to the public on or near the affected public rights of way.
 Restricted Byway SEDRB63, full length from Himley Road to
its junction with public footpath SED63H2;
 Public Footpath SED63H2, full length from its junction with
restricted byway SEDRB63 to the borough boundary;
 Public Footpath BRH0516, full length from Oak Lane to its
junction with public footpath BRH0008;
 Public Footpath BRH0008, full length from its junction with
public footpath BRH0516 to its junction with public footpath
SEDRB63;
 Public Footpath BRH0007, full length from Oak Lane to the
Crooked House site at the borough boundary.
The order is a continuation of the restrictions already in place by notice (operational on 04.09.2026) and will come into operation on 25.09.2026. The order will remain in force until 04.03.2027 or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. The maximum duration of the order is 6 months. No diversion route for pedestrians is required. Access to frontages and for emergency vehicles will be maintained where safe to do so.
