NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because road closure and speed limit reduction to facilitate gas main replacement works being proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s), Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Henconner Lane, Chapel Allerton, Leeds in the Chapel Allerton Ward between the junction with Stainbeck Lane to the rear of 21 Stainbeck Lane.
A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Henconner Lane, Methley Drive, Harrogate Road, Stainbeck Lane and vice versa.
Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on 27th July 2026 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed
by Friday 9th October 2026.
