TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE (STANLEY GARDENS and STANLEY CRESCENT) 2026
The Council of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea give notice that they intend to make a Temporary Traffic Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Schedule 1 Section 14 (1)(a) and all other enabling powers prohibiting motorised vehicles from proceeding or waiting in roads cited below.
Stanley Gardens and Stanley Crescent are to be fully closed.
The roads are to be closed to vehicles for crane works.
The restrictions will come into force from 06.00hrs until 23.59hrs on Wednesday 7th October 2026.
Diverted through traffic may use Kensington Park Gardens, Kensington Park Road, Ladbroke Gardens Ladbroke Grove, in either direction.
Access will be maintained for residents and occupiers.
Nothing in this Order shall apply to:
• anything done with the permission of, or at the direction of, a police constable in uniform.
• anything done in connection with the execution of said works.
