We have made this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using Richmond to Marske Road, Marske for a temporary period (subject to access to premises) between 21/09/26 & 16/10/26, due to strengthening & drainage works at Clapgate Bridge. However, the max duration of this Order is until 17/03/28. The closure period will be indicated by traffic signs & a local alternative route will be signed on site where appropriate. Prohibition of Waiting & Loading & Provision of Parking, Crosby Road, Northallerton, Amendment No Tbc, Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that The North Yorkshire Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4(2), 32(1) & 35(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 & Part IV of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act & under the Traffic Management Act 2004, the effect of which will be to amend “North Yorkshire County Council (Prohibition of Waiting & Loading & Provision of Parking) (District of Hambleton) (Amendment No 1) Order 2020” by introducing the restrictions specified in the Schedules below:-

Schedule 1 - Waiting Prohibited At All Times With Exemptions

Northallerton, Crosby Road, West side from its junction with the centre line of Colstan Road, northwards for a distance of 30.1 metres.

Northallerton, Crosby Road, West side from its junction with the centre line of Colstan Road southwards for a distance of 40.4 metres.

Northallerton, Crosby Road, East side from its kerb line intercept with Greenhowyke Lane, southwards for a distance of 20.4 metres.

Schedule 2 – Revocations

North Yorkshire County Council (Prohibition of Waiting and Loading and Provision of Parking) (District of Hambleton) (Amendment No 1) Order 2020:- In so far as it relates to Schedule 1 (Waiting Prohibited At All Times With Exemptions) Restrictions), items; Crosby Road - West - From its junction with the centre line of Colstan Road, northwards for a distance of 14.5 metres & Crosby Road - West - From its junction with the centre line of Colstan Road southwards for a distance of 14 metres.

A copy of the draft Order, together with a map showing the roads affected & a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected at County Hall, Northallerton & at Northallerton Library, 1 Thirsk Road, Northallerton DL6 1PT during normal office hours from 18/09/26 to 09/10/26 & also viewed online at
