What is happening?
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROADS TO BE CLOSED: 1. Privet Lane between its junction with A342 Andover Road and continuing to a point 166 metres Southwest on Privet Lane. (05/10-06/10) 2. Tidworth Road between its junction with A342 Andover Road and continuing to a point 110 metres West on Tidworth Road. (07/10-08/10)
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: 1. Tidworth Road, Deacon Road, Kimpton Lane, Water Lane, Snoddington Road, Fyfield Road. 2. A342, A3026, A338, Station Road, Perham Down Road, Tidworth Road.
DURATION OF ORDER: from Monday 5th October 2026 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 4 days working between the hours 22:00-06:00). These works will be completed in phases.
