Biddesden Bottom Road, Appleshaw, Test Valley - Temporary Road Closure due to utility works
What is happening?
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Biddesden Bottom Road between its junction with Ragged Appleshaw and continuing to a point 400 metres South on Biddesden Bottom Road.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Biddesden Bottom Road, A342, Biddesden Lane, Biddesden Bottom Road.
DURATION OF ORDER: from Friday 9th October 2026 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 26 days working between the hours 08:00-18:00 on Monday-Friday).
