(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES AND CLEARWAY) ORDER 2026
PARKSIDE, DARLINGTON
Darlington Borough Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make an Order under the provisions of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce:
1. No stopping at any time (clearway); and
2. The prohibition of the driving of vehicles on:
PARKSIDE
From the western boundary of 175 Parkside westwards to the eastern boundary of 253 Parkside
An alternative route will be signed via Grange Road, Victoria Road, Park Lane and vice versa.
The Order is necessary for road resurfacing works.
The maximum duration of the temporary restrictions under this Order is 18 months commencing from 26th October 2026, it is anticipated that it will be effective between 0700hours and 1900hours for 5 days.
