REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED)
Notice is hereby given that the City Council intends, in not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make the following Temporary Road Traffic Order(s):
ORDER NO. MCC152496565: The City of Manchester (Various Streets, Rusholme Ward) (Temporary Prohibition of Vehicular Traffic) Order 2026 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the Order is to prohibit vehicular traffic on Alwyn Drive From Clarence Road to its cul-de-sacend. Allingham Street, From Grenville Street to its cul de sac end, Banner dale Close From Bowscales Close to its cul de sac end. The alternative routes for traffic will be: N/A).
The City Council is satisfied that this prohibition is necessary in order to facilitate Carriageway Resurfacing . It is expected that the works will be in progress from 5th October 2026 to 5th December 2026.
The order shall come into operation on 5th October 2026 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months.
If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period.
