NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Midlothian Council has made a temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, prohibiting parking, waiting, loading and unloading on Polton Street (both kerblines) from Campview Road to Moorfoot View. The Order shall have effect on 22 September 2026 and shall remain in force up to and including 11 October 2026. The restrictions are necessary to facilitate footway resurfacing works.
THE MIDLOTHIAN COUNCIL (A772 GILMERTON ROAD, A7 AND DOBBIES AND GILMERTON ROAD ROUNDABOUTS) (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 - TTRO/R.5.4.355
Notice is hereby given that Midlothian Council has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which is that for a temporary period to facilitate carriageway resurfacing, Dobbies roundabout, A772 from Dobbies roundabout to Gilmerton Road roundabout, Gilmerton Road roundabout and A7 from Gilmerton Road roundabout southwards for a distance of 100m or thereby will be closed from 19:30-06:30. The Order has effect on 28th September 2026 and shall remain in force up to and including 04th October 2026. Pedestrian access will be maintained. Alternative routes for general vehicular traffic will be clearly sign posted.
