(C2232 Graham Road, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Order made: To close that part of C2232 Graham Rd from its junction with U63202 Broads Bank to its junction with B4211 Church St.

Reason: New customer connection by STW.

Alternative route: C2232 Graham Rd (part), A449 Worcester Rd, A449 Belle Vue Terrace, B4211 Church St and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day.

Commencing: 20 September 2026.

(U61400 Netherley Lane, Berrow) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Order made: To close that part of U61400 Netherley Ln from its junction with C2210 Berrow for a distance of 295 metres in a southerly direction.

Reason: Replacement of pole by Openreach.

Alternative route: C2219 Pendock, B4208 Pendock, B4208 Berrow, C2210 Berrow U61400 Netherley Ln (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day.

Commencing: 25 September 2026.

(B4208 Garrett Bank, Welland) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of B4208 Garrett Bank from its junction with A4104 Marlbank Rd to its junction with Woodside Ln (Private Rd).

Reason: New customer connection by STW.

Alternative route: B4208 Blackmore Park Rd, B4209 Hanley Rd, A449 Wells Rd, A4104 Little Malvern, A4104 Marlbank Rd and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day.

Commencing: 10 October 2026.

(U61214 School Lane, Upton Upon Severn) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of U61214 School Ln from its junction with U61228 Price’s Ln to its junction with U61213 Minge Ln.

Reason: Remedial utility work by STW.

Alternative route: U61214 School Ln (part), U61213 Minge Ln, U61224 Gardens Walk, U61232 Severn Dr, U61214 School Ln (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days.

Commencing: 10 October 2026.

(U61029 Queenhill, Upton upon Severn) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of U61029 Queenhill from its junction with U61028 Queenhill for a distance of 516 metres in a northerly direction.

Reason: Installation of pole by Openreach.

Alternative route: U61028 Queenhill, U61028 Heath Hill, B4211 Holdfast, U61029 Longdon Heath, U61029 Holdfast and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days.

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2214 Gilberts End Ln from its junction with B4209 Hanley Castle for a distance of 375 metres in a south westerly direction.

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2237 Lower Howsell Rd from its junction with B4503 Malvern Rd for a distance of 602 metres in a south easterly direction.

Reason: Telegraph pole replacement by Openreach.

Alternative route: B4503 Malvern Rd, A4103 Leigh Sinton, C2206 Stocks Ln, C2206 Worcester Rd service rd, A449 Worcester Rd, C2237 Lower Howsell Rd (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day.

Commencing: 15 October 2026.

(C2111 Rye Street, Birtsmorton) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2111 Rye St from its junction with U61420 Rye St to its junction with C2110 Birtsmorton.

Reason: Void investigation & Repair by WCC.

No access for emergency services, diversion route must be maintained.

Alternative route: A438 Berrow, C2112 Berrow, C2112 Birtsmorton, C2111 Birtsmorton and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days (24hrs).

Commencing: 12 October 2026.

(U63547 Lower Road, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of U63547 Lower Rd from its junction with U63548 Mathon Rd for a distance of 145 metres in a northerly direction.

Reason: Utility work by Cadent Gas.

No access for emergency vehicles, the diversion route must be maintained.

Alternative route: U63548 Mathon Rd, B4232 West Malvern Rd, C2207 Old Hollow and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 8 days (24 hrs).

Commencing: 12 October 2026.

(C2091 Hanley William) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2091 Hanley William from a point 670 metres north of its junction with B4204 Broadheath for a distance of 200 metres in a northerly direction.

Reason: Telegraph pole replacement by Openreach.

Alternative route: C2091 Eastham, U95617 Eastham, U95617 Orleton, U95617 Orleton Ln, B4203 Stanford Bridge into Herefordshire, B4204 Broadheath and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day.

Commencing: 14 October 2026.

EXEMPTIONS: TO PERMIT ACCESS TO ANY LAND OR PREMISES FRONTING THE HIGHWAY AFFECTED WHERE THERE IS NO OTHER FORM OF ACCESS; AND TO ALLOW THE WORKS TO BE UNDERTAKEN.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended) (Malvern Hills District) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2013 (Variation) Order 2026 [Limited Waiting on Taxi Ranks in Wells Road and Edith Walk, Malvern]

On 3 September 2026 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to limit waiting 1 hour 8.30am-5.30pm Mon-Sat, no return within 1 hour on the following sides and lengths of roads in Malvern:

Wells Road, Malvern (west side): from a point 20.5m south of its junction with Church Street for a distance of 18m in a southerly direction.

Edith Walk, Malvern (south side): from a point 14.5m west of its junction with Back Lane for a distance of 15.3m in a westerly direction.

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons’ vehicles.

The Order will come into operation 24 September 2026.

The validity of the Council’s powers in making the Order or this exercise of them may be questioned by application to the High Court within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made.

(Malvern Hills District) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2013 (Variation) Order 2026

[Prohibition of Waiting at any Time on Abbey Road and College Road, Malvern]

On 3 September 2026 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following length of road in Malvern:

Abbey Road (north west and west sides): from a point 74m north east of its junction with Wells Road for a distance of 30m in a north easterly direction and from a point 6.5m south west of its junction with College Road for a distance of 174m in a north easterly and northerly direction.

Abbey Road (south east side): from its junction with College Road for a distance of 6.5m in a south westerly direction and 15m in a north easterly direction.

College Road (west side): from its junction with Abbey Road for a distance of 19m in a southerly direction.

College Road (east side): from its junction with Abbey Road for a distance of 26m in a southerly direction.

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons’ vehicles.

The Order will come into operation 24 September 2026.
